Apataniidae Larvae key to Genera and species

1a. Metanotal sa1 sclerites about the same size as the sa2 sclerites. Top of head flattened or dished, often with a carina or ridge around the edge. Head and pronotum have a pebbled or bumpy texture.


1b. Metanotal sa1 sclerites missing, but with setae present in a straight row. Top of head rounded with a ridge in the center.
